Be the consummate host by supporting watchkeeping Officers in the safe, efficient and cost effective operation and maintenance of all equipment and machinery within engine and technical spaces. Works in a cost-efficient manner and in compliance with Company safety and environmental standards.

Conducts routine inspections to monitor, control and report issues on all engine machinery and equipment under his control.

Operates machinery as directed by Engineering Officers in a safe and consistent manner, in compliance with company policies and procedures, while paying particular attention to ETCC requirements and the use of checklists.

Coordinates and conducts assigned maintenance activities and accurately reports work to Engineer Officers.

Assists in the training and orientation of new-to-vessel and first contract technical crew.

Successful candidate will have accured at least 5 years experience working as Motorman or similar industry role. 

Holding valid STCW certification for Engine Watch Rating (STCW III/4) or higher.

Understands the foundations of customer service and has the ability to deliver outstanding service to our passengers.
