A day in the life:
We're seeking a Software Integration Engineer to help with the integration, test, deployment and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.
What you bring to the table:
- 8 + years of relevant experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Five (5) additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
- Proficient performing Linux System Administration
- Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)
- Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)
- Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Accumulo
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containerd)
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
- Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)
- An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Bonus Skills:
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- AWS Cloud experience
The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $150,000 - $200,000.
