Description
We’re looking for a Content and Channels Manager to support both internal and external communications. They will need to have experience developing content for a variety of formats – written, digital, in-person – and cover a wealth of topics that touch all aspects of our business.
They will be naturally curious and personable, getting out and understanding the business to develop content that brings our strategy and employer brand to life. Collaboration is key to success in this role, but they will need to be able to work independently.
Working with stakeholders across the business, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on content creation and channel management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Experience developing and delivering internal communications
- Experience producing content for a variety of mediums (e.g. intranet, townhalls) and in a variety of formats (e.g. written, video), doing so with limited budget
- Experience creating and editing videos on personal devices (e.g. mobile)
- Experience using graphic design software and tools (e.g. Canva)
- Ability to successfully build and manage stakeholder relationships
- Strong written communications, verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a changing environment and/or with ambiguity
- Comfortable working independently, including visiting other workplace locations to generate content
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience of employer brand communications or marketing
- Experience managing intranets and/or other digital channels
- Experience using new and innovative communication channels
- Experience working in a multi-site company with an operational frontline and/or shift working
