General Summary Reporting to the Supplier Development Director – Japan, this position will drive an ongoing global revenue increase for each assigned supplier, meeting and exceeding budgeted revenue goals while ensuring a progressive, profitable, in-demand product portfolio to satisfy an increasing range of Rochester’s customers globally. Maximize Rochester’s value proposition to deliver continued differentiation and growth, ensuring strong, productive long-term relationships within the supplier at all suitable locations and levels. Responsible daily for each assigned supplier's operational and tactical aspects globally, proactively supporting all sales and marketing efforts, demand creation, and demand fulfillment. Identify new profitable suppliers in Japan and build new partnerships for future revenue growth worldwide. Additionally responsible for local business/office support for vital global Suppliers whose HQs are located in foreign countries, under the accurate understanding of SD strategy for Global Suppliers. Effectively create synergy to work with SD colleagues closely assigned to the Global Suppliers. Investigate the local logistics situation and create a local product transfer process to increase the number of product transfers as appropriate. Develop a relationship with the local office of Global suppliers, perceive local active/EOL product trends, and drive a local strategy/heartbeat product with SD colleagues assigned to Global Suppliers. Responsibilities Exceed annual revenue goal for all designated suppliers. Own all supplier activities - strategic, tactical, and operational. Cultivate comprehensive relationships with the supplier's executive, Product, and Business groups. In tandem with the Supplier Development Director – Japan, establish and complete progressive quarterly OKRs. Ensure all defined KPIs trend positively. Lead Supplier QBR’s to drive business, processes, and improvement actions. Asset Management – responsible for targeting, securing, pricing, marketing, and selling all supplier inventory – proactively supporting all global sales and marketing initiatives. Identify and execute the transfer of vital strategic product lines to RE, maximizing ROI within predetermined timelines. Identify ongoing opportunities to further provide value for each supplier, deepening and strengthening engagement while ensuring additional profitable revenue streams with resultant ROI. Identify new supplier candidates by analyzing historical sales trends, the major product categories, M A dynamics their EOL policy and make a new supplier contract. Other Duties Responsibilities Liaise with colleagues throughout all RE departments globally to drive a common strategy. Social/Environmental Requirements: Work is varied daily, and the employee needs to be adaptable to respond to these changes, use independent judgment, and manage priorities. Hold a driving license. Be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally Approximately 50% work in an office environment About 50% of travel Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, or appropriate alternate/equivalent based on Education in the country of origin Proven supplier management experience in the semiconductor industry (5 years+). Excellent oral and written communication skills (Japanese and English) and an ability to influence others internally and externally. Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally and can navigate effectively to ensure maximum success. Strong management experience and a proven track record of successfully managing and growing supplier partnerships. Proven background in developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including experience in closing complex deals with customers suppliers. Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently. Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus without supervision. Positive attitude with an ability to absorb learn quickly. Strong team player with leadership attributes. Passionate about business and willing to go the extra mile.
