What you will be doing

• Operate various equipment such as mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools. 
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper guards are in place and notify the supervisor or lead of any safety concerns.
• Perform basic equipment set up.
• Read and interpret measurements using various gauging equipment, including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
• Visually inspect workpieces before and after machining for defects.
• Accurately and promptly maintain all job assignment records, both on paper and in the computer.
• Perform quality control checks during operations.
• Properly dispose of all scrap and waste materials.
