About the job
As a Cyber and Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring and advancing cybersecurity standards within our production and security networks across the DACH Region, Benelux and The Netherlands. You will be located in Ladenburg, Germany or Heerlen, The Netherlands. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting cybersecurity surveys and assessments
- Implementing regulatory requirements (including NIS2)
- Initiating and managing cybersecurity projects and work plans
- Integrating new technologies in networking and cybersecurity
- Enhancing security levels in operational and security networks
This position involves close collaboration with IT and ICS teams across plants and occasional interaction with regulatory bodies.
About you
Education & Qualifications:
- Degree in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred)
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity and networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, courses on cyber regulations)
- Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with security products (Firewall, AV, IDS, SIEM)
- Practical experience with networking equipment
- Familiarity with SOC (advantage), especially OT SOC
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems (significant advantage)
