We’re searching for a Benefits Consultant. Are you searching for new possibilities?
Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing, and we’re looking for a collaborative and client-focused professional to join our Group Benefits division as a Benefits Consultant (Hybrid). In this role, you will support a portfolio of group benefits clients and work closely with Senior Consultants, underwriting teams, and carrier partners to deliver exceptional service.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is 57,600 to $72,000 based on a 37.5 hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why we’ll love You:
3+ years of experience in employee group benefits account management
Strong knowledge of group health, dental, life, disability, and ancillary benefits products
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience building relationships with clients and carriers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
CEBS, GBA, LLQP or related designation considered an asset
Once here, you'll:
Provide account service for assigned group benefits clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with plan administrators and decision makers
Support renewal processes and plan reviews alongside Senior Benefits Consultants
Assist in preparing quarterly or semi-annual reports and recommendations
Coordinate with carriers to implement plan changes and resolve claims issues
Maintain accurate client records within CRM and internal systems
Promote and upsell Westland’s suite of benefits products to existing clients
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Westland services
