Job Description

Teaching CPD Aerospace Structures Technology related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location a portion of teaching assignment(s) may be evening and possibly weekend classes as needed. Duties include: Provide students with technical instruction in a safe and clean learning environment. Utilize teaching strategies and instructional materials for various learning styles. Evaluate student mastery of skills in: Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints and schematics. Use of precision instruments such oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other equipment to measure various components within a circuit. Verifying quality of finished product. And any other skill sets as required. Conduct assessments as required per the curriculum. May require administrative duties such as maintaining records, taking attendance, tracking evaluations, ordering supplies, equipment and inventory control and other related duties. May be required to maintain clean, secure, orderly, and safe classrooms, laboratories, equipment, and materials. Participate in professional development opportunities. And other duties as assigned.
