**Anticipated Vacancy Available**

 

POSITION      Teacher � Industrial Arts/Technology Education

  • Ability to teach a variety of Technology and Engineering Courses: construction, drafting, Geometry in Construction, etc.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with a math teacher for Geometry in Construction courses

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ISBE Professional Educator Secondary Teaching License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement required or
  • Alternate certification considered for tradesperson with an Associate's Degree and 2,000 hours of documented work experience (in architecture, construction, or relevant area) or a high school diploma and 8,000 hours of documented work experience (in architecture, carpentry, or relevant area)
  • Passionate about the trades and able to engage students in meaningful hands-on learning experiences
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
  • Potential for dual credit approval preferred but not required
