Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled BI & Reporting professional with strong expertise in SSRS, Power BI, and SQL to join the team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling report creation, dataset development, data validation, and report deployment. This role also requires the ability to mentor and assist junior team members while delivering high-quality reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using SSRS as the primary reporting tool
- Create and manage datasets for reporting and analytics requirements
- Perform thorough data validation to ensure report accuracy and reliability
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic
- Manage deployment of reports across environments
- Work independently on reporting tasks with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements
- Support and guide junior team members in report development and issue resolution
- Ensure reporting standards, performance, and best practices are followed
Required Skills
- 7-12 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SSRS (primary skill)
- Good experience in Power BI
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Expertise in report creation, dataset creation, and data validation
- Experience in report deployment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assist and mentor junior team members
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SSIS
