Oakline Studio is seeking a talented Project Architect to join our collaborative, energetic, and fun design environment. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented architectural professional with strong technical abilities, advanced Revit skills, and a passion for producing clear, buildable, high‑quality documentation. The ideal candidate excels in translating design concepts into coordinated construction documents, thrives in a supportive and fast‑paced environment, and brings a proactive, problem‑solving mindset to every project. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a wide range of project types while helping shape and elevate our internal drafting and BIM standards.
 
Responsibilities
 
Technical & Software Expertise
  • Proficiency in modern computer‑aided drafting platforms, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry‑standard design tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and project documentation.
  • Strong ability to produce high‑quality technical drawings and detailed construction documents.
  • Experience developing and maintaining drawing standards, templates, and best practices.
 
Design & Documentation Skills
  • Proven ability to translate conceptual design direction into detailed, buildable documentation.
  • Skilled in preparing drawings that clearly communicate design intent to consultants, contractors, and fabricators.
  • Capable of producing comprehensive drawing sets that meet project requirements, code standards, and industry expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all project documents.
 
Professional Experience & Collaboration
  • Prior experience working as an Architectural Designer or Mid‑Level Architect within an architectural or engineering studio.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop coordinated and well‑integrated design solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
  • Seven plus years’ experience working on mid- to large-scale projects preferred.
  • Architectural registration with current license preferred.
  • NCARB registration preferred.
  • LEED credential preferred within 6 months of employment.
