Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for small to large projects in support of Supply Chain Services initiatives. These initiatives will primarily be customer-facing and involve engagement with customers, sales, Supply Chain Services, service providers, business stakeholders, and outside suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all project management activities which include documentation of tasks, prioritization of tasks, and creating timelines for duration of tasks required to complete a project on time.
Lead project management activities and is responsible for the development and execution of multiple projects across multiple disciplines.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) dashboard that can be accessed by all project stakeholders. Submittal of weekly or bi-weekly updates that communicate performance to plan.
Manage Henry Schein, customer, and outside supplier resources to ensure project deliverables and objectives are achieved.
Manage the project budget to include the capture of project costs, capital expenditures, invoice backup, billing, and reconciliation to plan and target profitability.
Utilize Six Sigma and Lean principles to define processes and continuously improve both customer operations and internal service delivery operations.
Participate in customer focused Kaizen events pre-project to assist in identifying future projects and capture of initiative objectives.
Utilize project management applications (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.) to manage tasks, and track performance to plan.
Accept responsibility for the successful achievement of project goals and outcomes.
Ensure strong communication with all levels of the customer organization and the internal Henry Schein organization.
Perform other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Knowledgeable in all areas of supply chain management, particularly in the “last mile” of the demand fulfillment process.
Ability to develop and present executive level presentations.
Strong analytical skills and ability to listen to others.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Management Professional (CPMP) certification preferred.
Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma Strongly Preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $74,716 - $116,744 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
