Support the team with the development and execution of the Sustainability Strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with Mizuho Financial Group Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero targets.
Maintain, update and develop Sustainability Dashboards and MI across Risk, Business and Operational aspects.
Maintain, and enhance complex monitoring spreadsheets, including multi‑tab models used to calculate financed emissions and other sustainability metrics
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of sustainability datasets, applying advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., Power Query, pivot modelling, macros, scenario modelling).
Support the preparation of relevant Sustainability Committees / Forums / Working Groups, including supporting materials and action logs.
Track developments across regulations and standards covering sustainability disclosures, transition planning, governance, climate- and nature-related risk, and other pertinent themes.
Work closely with Mizuho EMEA’s risk and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with Climate and Sustainability regulatory requirements for assessment, monitoring and disclosures.
Support with the design, development and delivery of staff sustainability education initiatives.
Contribute to thematic research and analysis on sustainability trends
Support the delivery of external sustainability communications, including investor and corporate client sustainability due diligence questionnaires and website content.
