Senior DevOps / Observability Engineer (ELK Specialist)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Observability Engineer with strong experience in monitoring, logging, and system reliability.

This is a hands-on role where you will design and implement robust observability platforms and DevOps practices that ensure stable, scalable, and well-monitored systems in production.

You will play a key role in helping teams gain visibility into their systems, detect issues early, and improve overall operational performance.


You will be responsible for:

Observability & monitoring

  • Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, and related technologies

  • Build dashboards, visualisations, and alerting setups for critical systems

  • Ensure effective log management, data lifecycle strategies, and system insights

  • Proactively identify issues and improve system observability

DevOps & automation

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

  • Automate workflows to improve efficiency and reliability

  • Contribute to stable and scalable DevOps practices across teams

Cloud & platform engineering

  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and containerised environments

  • Support infrastructure design and system reliability in production

  • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning

Development & integration

  • Contribute to backend and integration development (primarily .NET / C#)

  • Support development teams with performance, monitoring, and operational insights

  • Help design simple, scalable architectures aligned with business needs


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience with observability and monitoring (e.g. Elastic Stack / ELK or similar)

  • Has hands-on experience with DevOps practices and automation

  • Has experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms

  • Has experience with backend development (e.g. C# / .NET or similar)

  • Understands system architecture and how to design scalable, reliable solutions

  • Is able to translate technical insights into actionable improvements

  • Is fluent in Danish and able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

It is a plus if you:

  • Have experience with alerting strategies and incident response

  • Have worked in complex or business-critical environments

  • Have certifications within Elastic or observability tools
