About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps / Cloud Security Engineer to design, build, and secure modern cloud platforms in complex and business-critical environments.

This is a hands-on senior role where you will work onsite in Copenhagen with security as an integrated part of platform engineering – ensuring that solutions are not only scalable and efficient, but also secure by design.

You will work closely with developers, platform engineers, and stakeholders to strengthen security practices across the entire software lifecycle.

You will be responsible for

DevSecOps & security engineering

  • Identify and manage vulnerabilities across code, infrastructure, and dependencies

  • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, including scanning and quality gates

  • Analyse threat landscapes related to open-source components and third-party dependencies

  • Define and implement security policies and controls in cloud and Kubernetes environments

Cloud & platform engineering

  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure)

  • Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms with a strong focus on security and compliance

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning

Automation & governance

  • Automate security processes, reporting, and compliance checks

  • Contribute to governance, standards, and best practices across teams

  • Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders

Collaboration & advisory

  • Act as a technical sparring partner for teams and stakeholders

  • Support development teams in adopting secure development practices

  • Contribute to architecture decisions with a strong security perspective

We are looking for someone who

  • Has strong experience with DevSecOps, cloud security, and platform engineering

  • Has hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container security

  • Has experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar)

  • Has worked with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into delivery processes

  • Has a solid understanding of security standards and practices (e.g. OWASP)

  • Is able to analyse complex systems and identify security risks and improvements

  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluent spoken and written Danish is a requirement since you will be working for public sector clients

It is a plus if you:

  • Have experience with compliance-driven or high-security environments

  • Have worked with policy engines, security scanning tools, or vulnerability management platforms

  • Have experience mentoring or leading technical initiatives

About you

  • You take ownership and are comfortable working in complex environments

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and quality

  • You are proactive and solution-oriented

  • You enjoy working at the intersection of development, operations, and security

What we offer

Twoday offers a flexible and collaborative working environment with strong professional communities across the Nordics.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to work with complex, business-critical systems where security matters

  • A central role with high responsibility and technical influence

  • Opportunities for learning, certification, and professional development

  • A strong technical environment with knowledge sharing and collaboration

  • A comprehensive employee package including pension, health insurance, and additional benefits

Diversity & inclusion

Do you not meet all the requirements? Studies show that women and minorities are less likely to apply if they don’t meet every qualification. At Twoday, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone is welcome.

If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.
