Compensation: €34,128 - €37,000 / year
Description
- Complete the initial training in product sorting and categorisation across various vintage product lines.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketplace Department Managers to learn about listing standards and processes.
- Gain familiarity with departmental KPIs and begin contributing to team goals, particularly regarding product listings and quality standards.
- Build foundational confidence in assisting with the assessment, sorting, and initial preparation of a variety of vintage items with direct supervision.
- Begin to actively contribute to the team’s listing targets by assisting in the drafting of accurate and high-quality product descriptions under guidance.
- Strengthen your collaboration with the Marketplace Teams by providing reliable support to maintain a productive and collaborative environment.
- Develop into a proactive member of the team, seeking opportunities to learn and support initiatives to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Support the team in achieving listing KPIs as a collaborative member of the Marketplace Department.
- Focus on learning and maintaining accuracy and quality in product preparation and initial listings, aligning with department standards.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative work environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the sorting, grouping, and initial categorisation of various vintage products, learning to identify the most suitable selling platforms.
- Work closely with departmental managers and senior team members to support the achievement of KPI targets, maintaining a supportive team atmosphere.
- Assist in writing detailed, precise product listings under supervision, ensuring they meet platform and departmental standards.
- Demonstrate developing IT and administrative skills, learn to type efficiently, and communicate effectively in writing across various listing platforms.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A demonstrable interest or passion for vintage and antique items, such as jewellery, watches, or other collectibles.
- The aptitude and willingness to learn to work productively and accurately when performing regular tasks, maintaining a high standard.
- Basic competency with IT and online tools, and a strong desire to learn how to create listings and maintain records on online platforms.
