Description
- Passenger and Baggage Screening
- Operating various screening equipment.
- Communicating and interacting with travelers
What you will need:
- Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
- Must possess customer service skills
- Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays)
- Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass a TSA background and financial records check
- Ability to work any day, Monday – Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
- Minimum Clearance to Start: Public Trust
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Constant standing, lifting, twisting, and bending
What we offer:
- Starting pay for this position is $25.56 and is determined based on certifications, years of service, and in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and/or Department of Labor Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determination.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Receive on-the-job training to become a certified officer.
