Optical Design Engineer

Lead development of optical sensing systems (interferometry, fibre optics). Support existing sensor transducer design, working on new designs and prototyping (incl. sensing element, fibre, lens, etc.). Simulation of sensing systems, components and data analysis. Hands on set-up and carry out prototype tests, including data analysis and interpretation of the test results. Design and implementation of interrogation schemes incl. processing algorithm definition and evaluation. Support planning and Execution of R D projects. Design documentation external report production, patent portfolio support (applications, maintenance).
