Job Description
You enjoy working with content—asking good questions, organizing complex ideas, and shaping information so it’s clear, persuasive, and easy to navigate. You understand that strong proposals start with thoughtful content that reflects how a team works and delivers projects.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll work within a close‑knit marketing team at the intersection of content development, brand voice, and proposal execution.
You’ll support marketing efforts across water, transportation, community infrastructure, and private development, translating technical knowledge into proposal and qualification materials that meet client expectations and firm standards.
Role Overview
You’ll be part of a collaborative marketing team that values shared ownership, clear communication, and supporting one another as priorities change. Using client intelligence and pursuit context, you’ll help shape messaging and positioning so content is relevant, intentional, and aligned with the goals of each pursuit.
You’ll support proposal and statement of qualifications (SOQ) development, interview preparation, client events and conferences, and award submissions. You’ll work closely with technical staff and marketers to develop, refine, and apply content that supports pursuit goals and reflects Olsson’s brand voice.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop marketing content for SOQs, proposals, interview presentations, and award submissions, following firm standards and brand guidelines.
- Organize technical content into clear, well‑structured narratives that support pursuit strategy and evaluator priorities.
- Develop high-quality proposals within branded InDesign templates, maintaining layout consistency, visual hierarchy, and brand voice.
- Plan, communicate, and track pursuit tasks, coordinating contributors and managing deadlines.
- Conduct quality and compliance reviews and edit proposal content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency.
- Gather and apply client intelligence to support messaging and positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing team members, technical staff, and graphic design resources across offices to produce cohesive materials.
- Lead and/or support conference and event needs, as required.
What You Bring
- Strong interest in developing, refining, and applying content with purpose.
- Ability to connect writing, design, and brand voice to proposal and firm goals.
- Ownership and management materials from early drafts through final production.
- Willingness to share responsibility for team deliverables and support colleagues as priorities shift.
- Commitment to continuous learning, including adopting new tools and processes and contributing ideas.
- Clear and proactive communication.
Contribution to a high-performing, professional, solution‑oriented team environment built on trust, communication, and follow‑through. Our team is looking for someone who is dependable, engaged, and ready to contribute—someone who helps maintain the strong, collaborative culture of our marketing team.
Qualifications
You are passionate about:
