The opportunity

Are you passionate about combining technical expertise with customer engagement? Join Hitachi Energy as a Service Tender and Sales Engineer and play a key role in developing service business opportunities within our High Voltage portfolio.

In this position, you will be at the center of the commercial process, working closely with customers, sales teams, and technical experts to develop competitive service proposals and deliver value-driven solutions. You will help shape service strategies, prepare technical and commercial offers, and support negotiations that contribute directly to business growth.

How you'll make an impact

• Prepare technical and commercial service tenders for High Voltage customers.

• Analyze customer requirements and develop competitive service solutions.

• Support the sales organization throughout the bid and proposal process.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

• Develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Negotiate technical and commercial aspects of service agreements.

• Ensure proposals comply with customer specifications and company standards.

• Support contract reviews, amendments, and scope adjustments.

• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the service business.

Your background

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of experience in technical tendering within the electrical industry.

• Experience in High Voltage products, systems, or services.

• Strong understanding of technical and commercial proposal processes.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
