Job Description
Acting as main responsible for all procurement related activities within a core project team Initiation, coordination, implementation and monitoring of all procurement activities of equipment and subsystems for a specific satellite project Selection of suitable suppliers and subcontractors in direct negotiation, restricted or open competition Leading of a team of subcontract managers working for your satellite project including establishment of tender documentation (RFPs, ITTs, draft contracts etc.), organization and management of Tender Evaluation Boards with and without participation of the customer, support in the preparation of ATPs, LOLs, Preliminary Order Letters etc., negotiation of Change Requests and taking over Contract Change Management activities (CR and CCN process), supervision of contract compliance (concerning quality, time and costs) Regular visits of the suppliers in Europe and worldwide, participation in project reviews and progress meetings as required Reporting to the project manager (monthly progress and status reports etc.) and to the line manager (Head of Project Procurement Management)
