We are currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with a focus on contaminated land to join our Perth team. The opportunity In this role, you will support the delivery of contamination investigation and remediation projects across a diverse client base. You will work alongside experienced professionals and play a hands-on role in both field and office-based activities. Key responsibilities You will contribute to a range of project activities, including: Supporting contaminated site investigations and remediation works Assisting with HazMat surveys, registers and removal management plans Conducting fieldwork including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment and air sampling Maintaining accurate field records, monitoring logs and managing analytical data (including Esdat) Assisting with technical reporting and proposal preparation Working both independently and collaboratively across project teams About you You are a motivated and adaptable environmental professional who enjoys working in a team and contributing to practical project outcomes. You will bring: 2–5 years’ experience in contaminated land or environmental consulting A degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline Experience in fieldwork and environmental sampling Strong data interpretation and report writing skills Familiarity with relevant WA and national guidelines (e.g. DWER 2021, DoH 2021, NEPM 2013, PFAS NEMP 2025) An understanding of project delivery and health, safety and quality systems Why join RPS, a Tetra Tech company?
