Job Description

  • Education: Associate’s Degree. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (CST) preferred or equivalent military training.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital operating room setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire
  • AST membership preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a surgical technologist in the same area or in similar day-to-day situations in a hospital operating room setting.
  • Open heart experience preferred
