Could you be the full-time GBC Operations Team Leader in Bangkok we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and operational excellence expertise in a new, cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in driving end-to-end service delivery for D&IS Operations work packages under the GBC Operations SLA. By ensuring operational efficiency, embedding digitalization, and fostering continuous improvement, you’ll make a meaningful impact on our global operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as regional and site counterparts, Digital Team, HR, and Compliance) to deliver exceptional service, implement AI-driven solutions, and enhance team capabilities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring service stability and quality for material planning, customer service, parts management, and data management interfaces, but also lead transitions for new sites and work packages.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Owning day-to-day delivery of GBC Operations SLA commitments for the assigned scope, ensuring predictable execution and business continuity.
-
Driving digitalization and embedding AI solutions, such as AI-Copilot and AI agents, into daily operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
-
Leading operational planning, including workload balancing, prioritization, and escalation management to protect critical site delivery.
-
Standardizing processes and tools across supported sites and deploying sustainable ways of working (WoW).
-
Monitoring service performance and operational KPIs, and leading root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
-
Developing and coaching your team to build capabilities in process knowledge, digital skills, and problem-solving while fostering engagement and resilience.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
-
Experience in operations, shared services, supply chain, customer service, or planning environments with multi-stakeholder interfaces.
-
Proven leadership experience, including leading teams and/or work packages across sites and regions.
-
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, with experience in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods (Yellow Belt/Green Belt exposure is a plus).
-
Familiarity with digital tools for operations, such as Power BI, automation tools, Microsoft 365, and an interest in AI adoption.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to create clear operational documentation and training materials.
-
Ability to work across cultures and time zones, align RACI, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
