What you’ll do
- Own and deliver end-to-end payroll processing for assigned APAC markets, with a focus on Singapore.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness of payroll, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Act as the payroll SME, providing expert guidance on payroll processes, compliance, and system-related matters.
- Develop and maintain country-specific payroll SOPs, checklists, and documentation standards.
- Drive process standardization and automation, reducing manual workarounds and improving efficiency.
- Partner with Data & Reporting teams to improve payroll data quality, reporting accuracy, and insights.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors and external stakeholders, ensuring service quality and compliance.
- Contribute to regional initiatives such as payroll transformation, system implementation, and M&A integration support.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing to internal stakeholders to strengthen payroll capability.
About you
- With 7+ years of payroll experience, preferably across APAC markets such as Singapore and/or Hong Kong.
- Strongly experienced in end-to-end payroll processing, including tax, social security, and statutory compliance.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and governance.
- A problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Able to work independently and act as a process lead and SME when required.
- Experienced in shared services or multinational environments (advantage).
- With exposure to multiple payroll systems and vendors.
- Experience in payroll transformation or system implementation projects.
- Background in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience supporting M&A integrations or regional expansions.
