South Jordan is a Fitness & Recreation Center located in South Jordan that includes a basketball gymnasium, turf field room, fitness room, dance room, aerobic room, walking track and indoor pool. Perks include flexible hours, a free center membership to employees, and a fun environment. We are looking for motivated and reliable people for the following areas:

- Lifeguards-- Age 15+
- Early morning, mid-day, afternoon and Sundays NEEDED! (Please list what times you could work in the Email.)
- ✅ Qualifications:
- Lifeguards-- Age 15+
- Must be 15 or older
- Complete a swim test: tread water for 1 min with no hands, swim 100 yards and retrieve a 10 lb. brick using a feet first surface dive at 6-foot depth.
- Group Swim Instructors--Age 16+
- Weekday lessons and Satuarday lessons
- ✅ Qualifications:
- Must pass a swim screening test.
- Applicants must be able to work with children ages 3-14.
- Applicants must be able to provide a safe learning environment and follow program standards.
- ✅ Qualifications:
- Group Fitness Instructors -- Age 18+

Background Check Information
Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
TEMPORARY POSITIONS:
- An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.

- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
- Are not considered merit employees.
