What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Emerging Markets Payment Processing Associate within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Cross-Border line of business and is located in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will support the execution and processing of foreign exchange and cross-border payments across emerging markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlement. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Foreign Exchange Emerging Market and regularly collaborate with Operations, and Compliance teams.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Processing spot FX payments across multiple emerging market currencies
Verifying and reconciling transaction data to ensure accuracy and completeness before settlement
Monitoring payment queues and ensuring timely execution via global payment networks and rails
Investigating and resolving discrepancies in payment instructions, confirmations, and settlement mismatches
Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant payment execution
Providing ad hoc operational support to Front Office and assisting in process enhancements Maintaining awareness of local currency regulations, cutoff times, and clearing requirements
Documenting processes and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
Qualifications & Skills
Strong working knowledge of SWIFT payment systems, including MT and MX message formats
Familiarity with emerging market currencies, local clearing systems, and regional payment regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Nice-to-Haves:
Fluency in multiple languages (French and/or Spanish preferred)
Prior experience in foreign exchange operations or international payments
Exposure to high-value or cross-border transaction environments

Pay Transparency
The expected salary range for this position is 67,000 -75,000 CAD based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
