POSITION OVERVIEW
. The Account Payable will be responsible for managing outgoing payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and verify invoices accurately and timely.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Prepare and execute payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers). Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing, including preparing journal entries and reports.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
