The Role
Reporting to the Business Manager, your responsibilities as an Advanced NDT Technician will involve working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders. This position has arisen due to increasing demand and growth in our services.
This role is on a Permanent Full-Time basis located in Canning Vale, Western Australia and will suit individuals seeking a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the opportunity to collaborate with major clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams including preparation of scope of works and recommending methods of inspection
- Perform training in PAUT to existing NDT team including equipment set up, calibration and reporting
- Mentor the quality of the work and reporting for projects
- Perform NDT across various industry sectors, applying both conventional and advanced methods
- Operate independently or within larger teams on short-term assignments, shutdowns, major projects, or maintenance campaigns
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide clear, concise, and relevant findings
- Maintain a commitment to quality assurance and safe working practices at all times
- Offer support to engineering and metallurgy teams, as needed, in non-NDT tasks
The successful applicant will ideally have

- ISO9712 Level 1 OR 2 Guided Wave Ultrasonics
- Experienced IRIS and/or Eddy Current Tube testing and analysis
- ISO9712 Level 1 OR 2 UT, PT, MT or ET (advantageous)
- Ability to analyse test data and compile clear, detailed reports
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
