Job Description
Harper College is seeking a qualified adjunct professor to teach Speech 101, a foundational course in oral communication. This course introduces students to essential communication skills, covering various speech topics to build their public speaking abilities.
The instructor will be responsible for leading the class, evaluating student speeches, and teaching the fundamental communication processes.
The instructor must also maintain an electronic course site through the College's learning management system (BlackBoard), ensuring students can access all necessary course materials and resources.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate punctuality, flexibility, and a solid commitment to student success, providing a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth. An ideal candidate would have familiarity with the GoReact software system.
