Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support both clinical and administrative functions across our care teams. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting providers and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

Essential Responsibilities

Document patient information accurately in the EHR (EPIC)
Complete intake for new and returning patients
Prepare patients and assist providers during exams
Administer vaccines and perform basic clinical procedures
Draw blood and complete screenings as directed
Participate in daily huddles and support care team coordination
Schedule follow-ups and assist with patient flow
Address barriers to care and support treatment compliance
Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant exam rooms
Process and route tasks in a timely manner
Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with Diploma
Current BLS certification

Experience

Minimum of 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
or
Currently enrolled in a medical, nursing, or EMT program

Skills & Abilities

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
