Job Description
General Purpose:
The checkout team is responsible for scanning the carton license plate and properly placing the shipping label, description label and the invoice in the correct carton.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to use a computer and scanner to perform checkout processes
- Ability to comprehend and learn error codes and how to fix them to correctly process cartons
- Clean and maintain all hardware associated with checkout
- Monitor conveyors for box jams
- Able to produce equivalent team production
- Keep good departmental housekeeping
- Report missing or lost invoices or shipping labels
- Report any damages to Checkout Lead
- Assist in other departments as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends during season
- Possess ability to embrace teamwork, but work independent at a quick pace
- Help others to improve overall productivity and efficiency
