Job Description
Position Title: Summer Help - Tech - 6 openings
Qualifications:
Required: Must be able to lift 45 lbs., climb ladders and work in extreme heat.
Preferred: Some working knowledge of computer hardware and software like Mac OS, IOS, and Windows operating systems helpful.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Salary Schedule: $15 per hour
Direct Report: Coordinator of Technology and Data Management
Terms of Employment: Part-Time (29 hrs per week, Mid May-Aug)
Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor approval
Purpose: Responsible for working with district technology staff to support all technology within the district.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- To "telework" when requested by the District.
- Repairs computers, peripherals, and electronic equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in a safe and functional operating condition.
- Installs computer hardware, peripherals, and application software for the purpose of maintaining overall site operations.
- Help staff in preparing equipment for use in the upcoming school year.
- Works in warehouse preparing machines for deployment, recycling, or sale.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
- Other duties assigned.
