Job Description
We’re searching for a strategic and people-focused Manager, People Programs. Are you searching for new possibilities? This is a hybrid role, based at our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

The expected hiring range for this role is $90,000 - $103,000 based on a 35-hour work week. You’ll collaborate across teams, lead enterprise-wide projects, and drive meaningful initiatives that support Westland’s people-first approach.

Progressive experience leading enterprise HR or people programs, including managing complex projects, and cross-functional programs within a matrixed environment
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, organizational development principles, employee engagement strategies, and modern people practices
Experience designing and leading DEI, wellness, and employee experience initiatives that foster inclusive, caring, and high-performing workplace cultures
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to coach, develop, and support high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics, evaluate program effectiveness, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, combined with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, project management tools, and AI toolsOnce here you’ll
Design, implement, and continuously improve innovative people programs, and initiatives that support employee engagement, development, well-being, DEI, and organizational effectiveness across a growing national organization
Lead end-to-end project management for assigned HR initiatives, including planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, budgeting, risk management, vendor coordination, reporting, and execution
Partner with HR leadership, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to align people initiatives with organizational priorities and support programs across talent acquisition, learning & development, total rewards, and employee experience
Research emerging HR trends, modern people practices, and inclusive program strategies, bringing forward recommendations and solutions that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness
Drive DEI and wellness initiatives and contribute as a core member of the DEI working group, helping foster a diverse, inclusive, caring, and people-first workplace culture
Monitor, analyze, and report on program metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform decision-making
