Director of Nursing

Summary

Job Description:

This key leadership nursing position is responsible for overseeing efforts necessary to achieve safety, quality, patient experience, finance, strategic, and workforce goals for Inpatient and Women’s Health/Neonatal Nursing Services at BH LaGrange. The nursing director collaborates and leads process improvement efforts within inpatient and ambulatory nursing to advance nursing practice and optimize patient outcomes. Identifies opportunities and facilitates in the development of nursing standards of practice, policies and procedures, standards of patient care, and standards to measure, assess, and improve patient outcomes, consistent with current nursing research findings and nationally recognized professional standards.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse Licensed to practice in Kentucky

Masters degree required

A minimum of five years nursing leadership and/or nursing professional development experience required.

BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS will be required.
