Job Description
Triaging enquiries, queries, and orders that come in via email, telephone, or CRM. In the absence of the office manager you would make sure this work is actioned, logged or processed ASAP. All work would come through you in the first instance, be placed in the order/quote folders for either yourself or colleagues to action. Checking work of new starters, and work from other colleagues where value over £3,000 or if colleague unsure if the work is correct, and would like this work checking as a precaution. Liaising with different departments to support business and customers (internal and external). Running 4 daily reports at the end of the day for all external reps where required. Liaising with external sales engineers on a daily basis to sort out enquiries or customer requirements. Stepping in to the role of office manager when the manager is absent. Supervision of all internal sales office staff. Proactive approach to customer enquires. Sorting all work and ensuring this gets actioned, logged in the KPI’s and placed in the quotes/order folders. Reporting outstanding orders and delays to Sales Director and External Sales Team on behalf of Manager when required. Updating KPIs on a daily basis – making sure the KPIs are all correctly formatted for data pull throughs. Technical understanding of products to help with triaging or colleague questions. Liaising with external sales team on various customer and order related issues. Raising quotations via Stock 2004 / CRM Order/Quote input via Stock 2004 / CRM Reviewing pricing on special items and basic quotes if they don’t align with industry standard. Supporting Level 1 team – driving improvement within the team and wider business. Managing multiple inboxes when required Conducting Coaching reviews for other Level 1 teams and supporting these departments where possible. Resolving any issues raised by internal or external customers, signposting if necessary to relevant department.
