Production Washroom Operator

Overview: Performs work as part of a team in a Clean Room facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility. Washroom• Weighs carted soiled merchandise to assure the proper weight for laundering.• Pushes carts to wash area.• Loads soiled merchandise into washers.• Activates washers insuring proper weight, balance, water temperature and cleansing material.• Removes clean merchandise from washers and moves by Carts to Dryer.• Maintains appropriate, required production records. • Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Weighs slinged or carted soiled merchandise to assure the proper weight for laundering. Hoists slings or pushes carts to wash area. Loads soiled merchandise into washers. Activates washers insuring proper weight, balance, water temperature and cleansing material. Removes clean merchandise from washers and moves by slings or carts to extractor, dryer, or steam tunnel. Maintains appropriate, required production records. Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 20-30lbs regularly throughout the day. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions; Working knowledge of basic math skills; Good verbal and/or written communication skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to meet attendance schedule; Work is based on a shift schedule, and may include weekends. Overtime required as needed.
