Advanced Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Inpatient

This position is inpatient only. It involves a variety of responsibilities, including the assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex cardiac conditions. This position also includes being a member of the Shock team, managing various cardiac devices and assist in the evaluation for LVAD/Transplant candidacy. The APP would work closely with the heart failure physician to manage patients with pulmonary hypertension, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and various forms of infiltrative cardiomyopathies. The candidate will act as a patient advocate, helping to provide high quality care and education to heart failure patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and nurses.

Schedule 4 ten hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotations
