CPS In-Home Position Overview Primary Purpose: To support families and children at risk of foster care placement by providing in-home services that address safety, stability, and well-being, with the goal of keeping families intact. CPS Family Services Specialist Overview Primary Purpose: To investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect, ensure child safety, and provide or coordinate services that support at-risk children and families.
