Diesel – POD 90 Machinist/Parts Salvage Welder Job Overview: This position will require great attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box.   Associate will be responsible for making repairs on damaged parts.  They will need to use a Bridgeport mill, weld or use hand tools.   Position will require running a stocking report and repair parts needed in the Parts Dept.  This position is evolving and must be open to taking on new challenges and opportunities to salvage parts.  The Associate will be working with the entire division and be able to communicate effectively with associates and leadership.  The person needs to be self-motivated and self-disciplined to stay on tasks.  Schedule:  Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime available Qualifications: The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, drills and grinders Standing: Continuously Walking: Frequently Sitting: Occasionally Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally Salary and Benefits: Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.  Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases Medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, flexible-spending accounts.
