Senior Associate – Assurance - Audit – PNG 

The opportunity 

As a Senior Associate in our Audit team in Papua New Guinea, you will: 

• Effectively manage audit processes with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, including revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes.
• Engage with clients in a professional manner and provide advice throughout transactions, including identification of areas for improvement in clients’ business processes.
• Lead fieldwork, manage performance, coach and mentor more junior team members and keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements. 
• Develop your understanding of current market trends and processes.

Skills and attributes for success

• A relevant degree and CA or CPA qualified.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• 3-5 years' experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
• A track record with developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach.
