Job Summary
SummaryJoin our Environmental Services team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient and non-patient areas, following infection prevention standards, removing waste, and supporting the overall safety and cleanliness of the hospital. Your work plays an essential role in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring a high-quality healthcare environment.

Full-Time | 2nd Shift
Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Essential Functions
Clean and disinfect patient and non-patient areas according to established schedules and infection prevention guidelines.
Remove and dispose of waste safely and in accordance with hospital procedures.
Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times.
Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support departmental operations and cleaning activities.
Operate environmental services equipment, including floor machines and buffers.
Follow all safety, infection control, and organizational policies and procedures.
Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing training as required.
Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
