Job Description
Respond to medical emergencies and deliver patient care, support and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, such as on the scene and during transport to emergency facility.
- Operates an emergency medical vehicle
- Examine and evaluate patient to determine the right course of treatment
- Provide patient with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights
- Required to communicate professionally with medical personnel staff at emergency facilities
Responsible to maintain daily cleaning schedules of the Union County Ambulance Service living quarters.
Responsible to maintain daily cleaning of his/her ambulance.
Possess a valid Illinois drivers license
Possess a valid Illinois or Nationally Registered EMT Basic License or Paramedic License
Successfully complete employment screening
Full-Time and Part-Time
Work schedule is 24 hours on shift and 48 hours off.
Wage range: $51,600.00 - $73,000.00
