Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
- Starting the week of June 22
- Schedule : 12 noon to 4pm, or 1pm to 5, or 2pm to 6 on any three days that work best for long engagement
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companion-level care for a wonderful, healthy older adult living just outside of La Vernia.
This position offers 12 hours per week, consisting of three 4-hour shifts on a consistent schedule, with the caregiver having input in establishing days and times that work well for everyone.
Responsibilities include companionship, light assistance with bathing, and helping support a safe, comfortable daily routine. This is an excellent opportunity for a caregiver who values building a meaningful, long-term relationship with a client and providing consistent, high-quality care in a positive home environment.

What You’ll Do as a Caregiver:
- Provide compassionate care tailored to each client’s personalized plan, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Offer homemaker services like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Engage with clients through conversation and activities that enhance their day and support their mental well-being.
- Document care tasks and communicate effectively with both the client and our management team.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Caring Heart: You’re passionate about helping seniors and creating a positive impact.
- Great Communicator: You can connect with clients and team members effortlessly.
- Experienced Professional: At least two years of caregiving experience is preferred.
- Minimum 2 year experience working with seniors, currently enrolled in a nursing program, or completion of a CNA course
- CNA training (not required, but a plus!)
- Reliable and Trustworthy: You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a commitment to excellence.
Pay is $16-$17 per hour, depending on experience.
