Energy Solutions is a business unit on a mission to build monetisable energy ecosystems around the electric vehicle. We work across three domains: Residential, Public & Retail, and Smart Grid. Our team is structured around Business Owners who lead cross-functional pods across car lines and regions, from concept to market and own their outcomes — from business case through to launch and lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Working at the intersection of energy markets and the vehicle: This role sits where energy policy, utility economics, and customer value converge. You will engage directly with aggregators, utilities, and DSOs — and translate what you learn into scalable offers that work across markets.
- Shaping the V2X commercial model from the ground up: Vehicle-to-grid and vehicle-to-home are moving from pilot to commercial reality. You will own the business lines that make that transition happen — building the offers, the partnerships, and the commercial logic that turns a parked Volvo into a grid asset.
- Being part of a team that shares ownership and raises the bar: Energy Solutions is a small, senior team. Business Owners here carry real scope — and regularly contribute beyond their primary domain. If you want a role where your work is visible and your decisions matter, this is it.
- Own and drive business lines within Smart Grid & Infrastructure — including V2X, smart charging optimisation, and flexibility and aggregation partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with energy partners — utilities, aggregators, DSOs — and turn market opportunities into commercial offers
- Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Legal from business case to market launch and lifecycle management• Contribute to Energy Solutions portfolio decisions and help shape the broader strategic direction of the team
What you'll bring
- Experience in energy markets, flexibility services, V2X, smart charging, or adjacent domains — from commercial, product, or strategic angles
- Strong business case and analytical capability; you know how to build a commercial argument and defend it
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work and deliver outcomes without direct authority
- Track record in international or multi-market contexts
- Backgrounds in residential energy, public charging, or broader EV ecosystem roles are equally welcome — we are building a team with complementary strengths
You can be based in Gothenburg or Stockholm; we’re happy to consider candidates from either location.
