Student Life Technician, USDB

Roles and Responsibilities As a Student Life Technician you will: Helps to monitor and consequate behavior as prescribed by written interventions. Records corresponding data. Helps students increase independence in eating, dressing, toileting, communication and leisure skills. Reports student progress to staff and parents as needed. Communicates with parents and teachers. Follows prescribed procedures in emergency situations. Reports medical problems to medical staff and assists in rendering emergency and maintenance health care under the Direction of a registered nurse. Supervises students in the cottages and on activities. Transports students (some may be in wheelchairs) to and from meals and activities. Transfers and carries students with limited mobility as needed. Provides basic custodial care of facilities, does laundry and dishes. Performs other duties as assigned.
