(iv) leading contractual negotiations with external lawyers and/or counterparties; and
(v) ensuring the CXO/Director level signatories within the Group are fully aware of the risks, mitigations
and key legal issues in any contractual commitment for the Group.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Work closely with Chief Legal Officer and SLCs in ensuring legal concerns requiring senior level input are addressed as soon as possible. principals, suppliers and legal counsel of counter parties (non-Arabic). Oversee investigation of legal claims and complaints by or against the Group (non-Arabic), prepare analysis to ensure that top management is made aware of all aspects of the claim/allegations. Assist in the formation of new businesses and verticals, and the restructuring of existing businesses and verticals. Oversee final terms and conditions for all key contracts between the Group and other parties and provide to CLO for final approval. Participate or lead management meetings as required and offer legal strategic direction and guidance. Advise heads of department and key management on legal matters pertaining to their responsibilities, potential liabilities, exposures and tactical options in order to facilitate fully informed decisions in line with relevant SoAs.Comprehensively and succinctly synthesise large volumes of information. Meticulous attention to detail. Company governance awareness and ability to draft company governance documentation, including MoAs. Solution orientated in a practical and compliant manner, in line with corporate governance and principles. Ability to understand key financial documentation for businesses such as balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and matters driving costs/profits.
