Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Automation Service Engineer to join our Service team in Türkiye. In this role, you will support automation-related service activities across customer sites, including commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous optimization of installed systems.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position involving close collaboration with field service teams, direct customer interaction, and frequent travel.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Execute automation service activities at customer sites across Türkiye
  • Perform software modifications and upgrades on new and existing equipment
  • Support commissioning activities and troubleshooting, both on-site and remotely
  • Install upgrade and rebuilding kits and ensure safe reintegration into production
  • Collaborate with service engineers and technicians to ensure timely execution and quality standards
  • Conduct system inspections (operational, mechanical, electrical, and process) and ensure proper documentation according to company guidelines
  • Identify upgrade opportunities and support customers in improving equipment performance and efficiency
  • Participate in technical trainings to continuously develop automation and process knowledge

Your Profile / Qualifications

Education

  • Degree or technical certification in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Professional Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in automation service, commissioning, or troubleshooting
  • Experience in food, dairy, chemical, environmental, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens preferred), HMI/OP panels, and automation fault finding
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including electrical panels, MCCs, and process instrumentation
  • Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols:
    • Profinet
    • Ethernet/IP
    • Profibus
  • Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) such as Danfoss, Schneider, or ABB
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and process descriptions
  • Basic knowledge of separation technologies (decanters, separators) is an advantage
  • Strong experience with PLC programming (Siemens), HMI/OP panels, and automation fault finding
  • Solid knowledge of electrical panels, MCCs, process instrumentation, and electrical installations
  • Experience with industrial networks and I/O systems (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus)
  • Hands-on experience with Danfoss, Schneider, or ABB VFDs

Languages & Tools

  • Good command of Turkish & English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
