Academic Interventionist

Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dedicated Academic Interventionist to support student achievement through targeted instruction. This position works closely with students, teachers, and support staff to improve skills and help students meet academic goals.

Location: Neil Armstrong Elementary
Start Date: August 2026 
Hours: 1.0 FTE Position
Salary:$50,000 (BA 0-4 starting salary for 25-26 school year)

Required Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to obtain appropriate Iowa licensure/certification
• Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work with small groups and individual students to address reading needs
• Ability to analyze student data to inform instructional decisions
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment
