Full Stack Data Engineer

The Connected Vehicle Data Team within Ford’s GDIA organization is looking for a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and support applications, services, and data tools that make connected vehicle data easier to access, understand, and use across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, cloud platforms, event streaming, and data engineering, with a focus on building practical solutions that turn high-volume vehicle data into meaningful insights for business partners and customers.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend services, APIs, dashboards, internal tools, and cloud-native data solutions. You will work primarily with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, Kafka, OpenShift, and Google Cloud Platform, while also supporting frontend development using React or Angular.
